Annual Design Contest

For the eighth year running, we are giving our supporters the opportunity to share their vision for the 2019 American Latino Museum campaign. Show us what a Smithsonian National American Latino Museum would mean to you—and get national exposure for your talent—by designing the image that will embody our campaign throughout 2019!

Over the years, we have received hundreds of thoughtful, creative, and beautiful designs from artists across the country. We are thrilled to carry on this growing tradition of reaching out to the Latino community for help and inspiration.

The winning design will serve as the central image for our promotional materials, online imaging, and posters. Thousands of posters will be distributed through a national media campaign that will include distribution at major Latino conferences nationwide as well as across Capitol Hill. As we endeavor to create the first and only National American Latino Museum, the winner of this contest will be part of a historic movement.

You don’t need to be a professional artist to submit an entry, and all art forms will be accepted — be it painting, photography, graphic design, or beyond.
