For the 10th year running, we are proud to invite you to share your vision for the 2021 American Latino Museum campaign and imagine your artwork in the halls of the National American Latino Museum!

This year, we can celebrate American Latino artwork knowing that it can soon hang in our Museum on the National Mall. What would you like to see in these halls? How do you want your story to be remembered? We invite you to create with that in mind and cannot wait to see your creativity in action.

The winner of our Design contest will not only their work serve as the centerpiece of all of our special events—bother virtually and in-person—and communiques this year, but they will receive a $500.00 gift card. The artist will forever be credited with their design as part of this historic campaign dedicated to honoring the contributions of American Latinos.

Over the years, we have received hundreds of thoughtful, creative, and beautiful designs from artists across the country. This year, are invited to wow us with your creativity and inspiration.

Congratulations to Cristiano G. Mattos of Indiana for his 2020 Winning Design: “Girl with the Guitar.”

“This piece is inspired by the older generation reaching out to the youth of today through their talent, positive attitude, hard work, and the willingness to dream big. Selena Quintanilla is included in the background as she has been the inspiration to many, like the pictured girl with the guitar.”
